Steve Boycott brings a distinctive blend of experience from both military and civilian careers. His military background instilled strong values of discipline, leadership, and composure under pressure, while his diverse civilian roles have reinforced the importance of effective communication and meaningful human connection.
Since 2014, Steve has worked with over 50 schools and organisations across Worcestershire and the sounding counties, working collaboratively to become an integrated part of each school community rather than an external addition.
His mission is to equip young people with transferable life skills that extend beyond the classroom—supporting not only improved engagement and attainment, but also the development of confident, responsible members of the community.
In an increasingly complex and fast-changing world, Steve believes education must go beyond academic knowledge. Young people also need the self-belief, resilience, and courage to navigate life’s challenges successfully.
His approach:
Steve enjoys being outside regardless of the weather. With a "Skin is waterproof" appoach, he takes advantage of all that nature has to offer. He can be found walking the local hills, resting in woodlands or bathing in the rain on the farm. He's fond of a good movie, music is always on and he likes to throw tyres around to keep fit.
