Schools need to provide a suitable indoor space for the group size, access to outdoor space and transportation for any off-site trips. Some programmes may also require a member of staff to accompany Be You Training on delivery days. Be You Training brings all the equipment and bucket loads of positivity.
The Be You Programmes run 1 day per week over either a half-term and full-term.
Be You Training can also deliver 1 day sessions.
At the end of a Be You Programme, we invite family, school staff and members of the community into school to attend a graduation. Be You students then present to the guests and we showcase all that has been achieved on the programme. Bring tissues as it gets emotional.
Yes, depending on the programme selected. All photos are taken and stored in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Be You Training Policies (Which are made available to all participating schools). Be You Training will issue a media consent form prior to the start of a programme. No photos will be used on social media during the delivery of a Be You Programme and are used only for the Graduation event. Should family consent to photos being used after the programme has fininshed, then an additional media consent form is issued.
Yes. Where uniform has been included, it is theirs for life. It is great meeting students from past programmes who still have the uniform as a reminder of what they achieved. I also find that parents try and steal the uniform.
No. I provide the parents/careers all the information they need prior to the start of a programme. As part of the programme's aim to make young people accountable, Be You Training puts the responsibility firmly on them. They get told what to bring, when to be where and what the expectations are. If we want them to take ownership of their own personal development, then we can't do it for them.
