"My son was lucky enough to be given the chance to join Steve and take part in the amazing training he provides. I can not express how grateful I am that Danny has been given this opportunity.

School has never been his favourite place and every day brings another challenge, another obstacle and another knock to his confidence! But 12 weeks ago, Dan was given an opportunity that i genuinely believe will impact on his future.

He has been on such a journey with a great group of children and some amazing adults. He has been given so many opportunities to push himself out of his comfort zone and he has been able to realise what he can achieve with hard work, determination and perseverance, skills that i dont think he would have allowed himself to gain within the classroom.

I have seen him grow in confidence, build friendships and develop life long skills. He has looked forward to this each week and has been excited to share his achievements at home. He has told us about the skills he has gained and how he will be able to use them in life and this has been so reassuring to hear.

Steve has been a regular part of our Tuesday evening conversation and the whole family would look forward to hearing about the weekly adventure and the latest Moto!!

Danny has never had a part in any school play, not even in early years,  as his lack of confidence just wouldn't allow him to stand in front of people. Getting him writing is a constant battle and a big challenge but, at the graduation I watched him read out the speech he had WRITTEN!!! This was an achievement I didnt think I would ever see. That was the first moment I thought "he will be alright in life, he'll find his way".

I will never be able to thank you all enough for giving us that moment!"

"I can confirm that I have worked with Steve Boycott via the Be You Programme for a number of years over various school settings.

As part of this project, Steve works with identified small groups of children from KS2 aged 9-11 years who require additional support. These areas of need often include the following; trauma, behaviour needs, low self- esteem or confidence, resilience building grow mindset domestic negativity to name just a few.

Steve designs programmes which enable these children to build their skill set while also having a known and safe adult with whom they can build trust and share their worries or concerns with.

The feedback received from all our children when working with Steve is wholly positive. They simple love Steve and the Be You project.

I cannot commend the work and the impact which Steve does highly enough. He really does make a difference in the lives of our vulnerable children"

"It is with great enthusiasm that I write this recommendation for Steven Boycott and his exceptional Be You Programme.

Over the course of his involvement with our school, Steve has demonstrated a remarkable ability to connect with pupils and The Be You Programme is a thoughtfully designed initiative that equips pupils with invaluable skills such as resilience, teamwork, and effective communication.

Steve's expertise and dedication to this programme have made a significant and measurable impact on the students he works with.
The results speak for themselves. Pupils involved in the Be You Programme consistently exhibit increased engagement with school. Their attendance improves, sanctions decrease, and they earn more house points, reflecting a shift in both behaviour and motivation. Beyond these measurable outcomes, their overall attitude toward school is visibly transformed, fostering a more positive and productive educational experience.

Steve's work not only benefits the pupils in the short term but also lays a strong foundation for their future, equipping them with skills that will serve them throughout their lives. As educators, we have also observed the ripple effect his programme has on the wider school community., enhancing the atmosphere and supporting our staff in their efforts to nurture well-rounded, resilient students.

I wholeheartedly recommend working with Steven Boycott. Your staff will notice the difference his programme brings, our pupils and their families will feel its impact long after their time with him ends.

Steve is a true asset to any school he works with, and I cannot commend his efforts highly enough.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me."

“Steve’s passion and enthusiasm for the project is what convinced us to develop it in our school.  At the start of the 12 weeks I didn’t have much hope with how the project would pan out with the different characters on the course.

Throughout the 12 weeks the group worked on their confidence, self-esteem, managing behaviour, resilience and team work.  I was so delighted to see students present their hard work in the graduation and share their experiences that the majority had never experienced before.

The students keep asking me if they are going to do it again as they thoroughly enjoyed it.  Some students in education need a different approach to learning and this is an ideal project for the students to experience education in a different environment.”

"Our grandchildren have had the real fortune of attending "Be You" and it has had a real positive impact on them.

It's an excellent blend of activities that seeks to bring the best out of children giving them a great confidence boost and in turn self-belief.

The courses are very ably led by Steve Boycott who obviously draws on military and life experience,  delivering the course in an empathetic manner such that children attending engage quickly and enthusiastically.

Strong, strong recommend! "

“I just wanted to email to say Thank you for the 12 weeks you have spent with C.

We have had some really bad days these past few weeks and C isn’t always making the right decisions outside of school but having the Be You to look forward to I know has given him a lift when I’ve been on his back about his behaviour.

Watching the video at the graduation and the smile on his face really really touched me. Thank you.”

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and has made a complete u turn at school (and at home). She is more confident and more respectful both at home and at school and she will use the skills the Be You Programme has taught her throughout her life and I know this will help her succeed.”
